Walk to end homelessness this Saturday.

The 琉璃神社鈥檚 Gospel Mission invites the community to their sixth annual fundraising five-kilometre walk or 10 km run with those they serve in their .

With 琉璃神社鈥檚 help, the goal this year is to raise $45,000 to support 琉璃神社鈥檚 Gospel Mission鈥檚 Men and Women at the Emergency Shelter and at Harmony House, their women鈥檚 transitional house. Services include meals, shelter, life skills training, Bible Studies and more.

鈥淚鈥檓 so excited for our sixth annual walk to raise funds for programs that help men and women get back on track with their lives. Although this has been a very busy year we have celebrated with many individuals who have found their own homes and their new place in our community.

鈥淲e are working hard to make sure every person has the opportunity to improve their situation and are so grateful for the support of people taking part in our walk,鈥 said Gospel Mission鈥檚 executive director Randy Benson.

Registration starts at 3 p.m. with the walk beginning at 4. A delicious meal of hot chili, chicken stew, homemade biscuits and special treats will be served after the walk in their dining room.
