±õ³Ù’s a milestone for ´¡²Ô»å°ù±ð’s Electronic Experts this year as the company celebrates its 40th anniversary.

In 1976, the company was started as Andres TV Repair shop on Windsor Road by Andre Blanleil Sr., who received a ³Ù±ð³¦³ó²Ô¾±³¦¾±²¹²Ô’s degree from DeVry University. Over time, he purchased a few TVs to see if they would sell to see if he could attract customers in need of a new television set. In 1980 Andre Blanleil Jr., who managed a shoe store in Calgary,relocated back to ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç purchasing half of his ´Ú²¹³Ù³ó±ð°ù’s company. They later moved the store to Springfield Centre onSpringfield Road, introducing more retail sales. In 1986, the store was relocated to its current location at 2153 SpringfieldRd., along with the ³¦´Ç³¾±è²¹²Ô²â’s head office. The store expanded its product line beyond electronics to introduce a full line of appliances three years ago. For several years now, ´¡²Ô»å°ù±ð’s sons Kyle and Chad have been working in the company. ´¡²Ô»å°ù±ð’s now has 20 locations in B.C., including West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç, Penticton and Vernon along with ´¡²Ô»å°ù±ð’s Car Audio located at 1881Harvey Ave. They are the fifth largest Telus dealer in Canada. Congratulations to Nan Pellatt, who received the Volunteer of the Year Award for the ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç-Mission provincial Liberal Party riding association. Nan is the riding association secretary.

Being in business for three years, registered professional counsellor and peer facilitator Heather Persall, owns and operates Whole Heart Counselling at 7-1873 Spall Rd. in the Spall Business Centre. She works with and has a very keen enjoyment of working with people on anger management. Persall teaches a 10-week course in which the participants will learn how to recognize what their triggers are and positive ways with which to cope or even negate them. Other types of counselling she performs concern the areas of dealing with grief, which she specializes in, couple coaching and working with young self-harmers. She believes in client centered counselling and will almost always use a holistic approach towards healing and coping skills. Congratulations to Terry Wardrop, who won the 2016 One Club Championship at the ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Golf and Country Club. As it says, you can only take one club to play the entire 18 holes, putting and all. He used a 3 rescue.

Help keep kids warm this winter by participating in Sleep °ä´Ç³Ü²Ô³Ù°ù²â’s Give a Kid a Coat Campaign. Each year Sleep Country collects winter coats and accessories for local children in need. You can drop off a coat or make a donation by bringing in anew or gently used clean winter coat to any Sleep Country by Nov. 27.
