E-Kruise Solutions in 琉璃神社 is the nationwide distributor of Bikeep stations in Canada, handling sales, installation and maintenance of the entire Bikeep network. The KF Aerospace Centre for Excellence Association has appointed Chris Lapointe as its new Executive Director. Chris joined the newly created 琉璃神社-based Flair Airlines in 2005, relocating to 琉璃神社 in 2008. In his role as VP and GM of Commercial Operations for Flair, Chris was pivotal in the successful growth and management of the B737 charter airline operation, guiding it from inception through its sale as a commercial passenger carrier in 2018. Chris鈥 appointment follows the retirement of Paula Quinn the Centre鈥檚 first Executive Director.

Cardinal Capital Management comes to 琉璃神社 with the grand opening of its new office, its first foray into B.C. Located on the third floor of 550 West Avenue, in the Pandosy Village, the office will be run by financial services veteran Allan Hryniuk. Allan will be assisted by Jennifer Cartwright, the new office鈥檚 client services manager, who have worked together for nearly 15 years. Cardinal, a Winnipeg-based investment firm, founded in 1992 By Tim Burt, has more than $4.3 Billion in assets under management and has offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Brandon, Manitoba. It has 90 employees across Canada. Emily Burt is the Chair and Executive Vice-President of Cardinal.  

Wyatt Cooper-Brown, Gulfstream鈥檚 assistant food and beverage manager and mixologist at the Four Points by Sheraton 琉璃神社 has been named the Caesar Champion of B.C., competing in the Motts Clamato BC Caesar Championship in Vancouver, Wyatt showed his creativity and skill, earning top honors from the judges. The championship featured seven mixologist, each representing their unique interpretation of the classic Caesar cocktail. Wyatt鈥檚 standout creation of the Backyard Picnic impressed the judges not only with its flavor, but also with the meaningful story behind its name. The black box challenge reminded Wyatt of using leftover ingredients at home feeling like an improv picnic that the judges resonated with that.

 Grate Cheesery at 462 West Avenue in the Pandosy Village is celebrating their 1st Anniversary. To celebrate, Mark and Mirjana Snow are planning a three-day party from August 1st to 3rd. During  the three days, there will be in-store samplings of cheese and gourmet foods, daily promotions and big giveaways. Grate Cheesery is a quaint cheese shop with a fully licensed caf茅. The shop offers a rotating selection of over 60 cheeses from Canada and around the world. The retail shop is full of gourmet accompaniments and offers indoor and outdoor seating, with a dog friendly patio. Congratulations to all the 94th Lady of the Lake contestants and the newly crowned 2024 琉璃神社 Ambassadors team. They are Miss 琉璃神社 Lady of the Lake, Anaya Sattler; 琉璃神社 Princess, Maya Courtney; 琉璃神社 in Waiting, Eve Russouw. Award winners are in Talent, Angelina Agostino and Eve Russouw; Speech, Maya Courtney; Area Knowledge, Maya Courtney; Community Involvement, Kendall Wentland; Blossom, Sophie Olijnyk and Eve Russouw; Friendship, Anaya Sattler. The team will volunteer at events in and around 琉璃神社 as well as representing and promoting 琉璃神社 in many communities throughout B.C.

 

This year, The Regional District Central Okanagan celebrates its 50-year anniversary. RDCO Visitor Services Park Interpreters offer a wide array of programs each season to help people enjoy nature and gain a better understanding of the environment in the region. The Regional District offers more than 2,100 hectares of parkland including 86 kilometers of designated trails in 30 regional parks for visitors to explore. The Fourth Annual Autism Okanagan (AOK) Charity Golf Classic in partnership with Vrecko Real Estate Group is August 9th at Tower Ranch Golf Club. 100% of the proceeds from this non-competitive golf event will go toward ensuring that families living with autism in the Okanagan have access to support and resources. The Okanagan Print Triennial offers local residents a fascinating glimpse into the global printmaking community that has opened at the 琉璃神社 Art Gallery and runs until October 27th. Twenty-five artist were selected for their unique approach to the art of printmaking and 14 are Canadian artists including three from the Okanagan. Visitors will see woodblock printing, screen printing, monotype, etching and intaglio, lithography, collagraphy and more. The three Okanagan artists are Dr. Darian Goldin Stahl, Moozhan Ahmadzadegan, and Todd Schultz. Christine May is the Curator at the 琉璃神社 Art Gallery and Nataley Nagy is the Executive Director.
