It鈥檚 made in 琉璃神社, it鈥檚 100 per cent B.C. apples and it is ready for you to enjoy.
With BC Cider Week just a few days away, SunRype has unleashed its new 鈥榩remium craft cider鈥.
鈥淪unRype is taking a page out of its own rich history book with the launch of a new premium craft apple cider that harkens back to the 1950s, when the iconic B.C. brand introduced Canada鈥檚 first hard cider,鈥 writes SunRype鈥檚 Barb Broder.
The label features an adaptation of the retro SunRype logo, circa 1946, accented with a graphic representation of the Okanagan Valley, which SunRype still calls home.
鈥淪unRype Cider truly captures the essence of the Okanagan. It is made with only 100 per cent B.C. apples, locally brewed in small batches with the signature apple taste that SunRype does best,鈥 says marketing manager Kat Hillis. 鈥淏ut don鈥檛 think it鈥檚 going to taste like the apple juice you grew up with 鈥 the profile is definitely all 鈥榞rown-up鈥 and delivers a deliciously crisp, dry refreshing finish.鈥
The ad campaign for this new alcoholic addition is called 鈥淚t鈥檚 About Time鈥 as the company believes the cider was an overdue addition.
鈥淪unRype Pure 鈥楤lue Label鈥 Apple Juice has bene Canada鈥檚 #1 selling apple juice for generations, and all that history and expertise meant it was only a matter of time before the company rolled up its sleeves and crafted a cider to join in the growing craft cider market.鈥
SunRype will be sampling it at a number of events and venues to celebrate the third-annual BC Cider Week, April 28 to May 7.
