The OSNS Child and Youth Development has launched a 50/50 raffle in support of the Share-a-Smile Fall Fundraiser.

For the second year in a row, the OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre has launched a 50/50 raffle in support of its annual Share-a-Smile Fall Fundraising Campaign.

Those who buy raffle tickets both directly support services for children across the Okanagan and Similkameen with developmental needs and get a chance to win up to $10,000,

British Columbians have until Nov. 30, to take part in the draw.

"By purchasing a raffle ticket, supporters are investing in the future of children and youth in our region," said Megan Windeler, community engagement lead at OSNS, which is based in Penticton. "We are thrilled to bring back the Share-a-Smile 50/50 raffle and give our community the chance to contribute in a fun and impactful way."

The child centre also held the 50/50 raffle ahead of its Share-a-Smile fundraiser in 2023.

A draw date for this year's raffle has been set for Dec. 2, with the winner to be announced after 10 a.m.

As of Nov. 7, close to $1,000 has been raised through the raffle.

"Funds raised will help OSNS optimize the health and well-being of every child, youth and family they serve," a press release reads.

The maximum jackpot of the raffle will be $20,000, with the winner to take home 50 per cent, according to the centre.

Participants must be at least 19 years of age, and B.C. residents.
