Chopped Leaf restaurant opens in Summerland

The Chopped Leaf, a Canadian healthy eating chain, is celebrating it鈥檚 newly opened restaurant in Summerland with 50 free meals for its first customers.

The chain, which started in 琉璃神社, now has more than 110 locations. It offers fresh eating options for lunch and dinner, including customizable salads, bowls and wraps made with fresh ingredients.

The Summerland restaurant will hold a grand opening event on Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its location at 7519 Prairie Valley Rd. The first 50 guests will eat free, while all guests will receive 50 per cent off on the day. The restaurant will also hand out 50 small gift bags with swag on April 13.
