GESS senior girls' volleyball team gives back to Lake Country.

The George Elliot Secondary School senior girls' volleyball team and their parents, decided to give back to their community.

Organized by coach Rochelle Youngberg, the team and their parents set out to collect various fruits, veggies and other goods to fill the Lake Country Community Fridge.

The fridge is located at 9830 Bottom Wood Lake Road and relies 100 per cent on volunteer and donor efforts.  The goal of the community fridge is to provide safe, 24/7 access to free food to those who need it.

A post of the team's good deed was shared to Facebook and has garnered more than 154 likes in less than 24 hours.
