The staff celebrated month鈥檚 end by donating $3,000 to .
鈥淲e are growing so fast this year and just can鈥檛 keep up with some of the things we need,鈥 explained Angie Lohr, president and co-founder of HOPE Okanagan, a group that provides night-time outreach to homeless and/or sexually exploited women in 琉璃神社鈥檚 downtown core.
HOPE also offers a safe house/recovery house to women.
The 17-person staff at Creative Roots Landscaping each donates one hour of their time every week to contribute to the company鈥檚 Community Give Back fund.
They then choose a charity to benefit from a donation.
Employee Sam Ulasy recommended HOPE Okanagan for this month鈥檚 recipient because her mom volunteers there.
To-date, Creative Roots has donated over $118,000 in cash and in-kind work to organizations in 琉璃神社.
