The community of Wilden in 琉璃神社 is celebrating 20 years on Sunday, July 16.
On July 16, 2003 a couple signed a contract to purchase the first single-family lot in Wilden.
The Lommer family still lives in the house.
鈥淥ur house is going to be 20 years old this summer鈥�, said Donna Lommer, 鈥渁nd anyone who comes by for the first time, they all say, 鈥榃hat a great place! What a beautiful area it is鈥�, and we agree.鈥�
Community members are planning a birthday celebration at the Wilden Presentation Centre.
The event runs from 1 to 5 p.m. The history of Wilden will be on display, people can enjoy live music and family activities, and snacks and refreshments will be served.
