The community of Wilden in 琉璃神社 is celebrating 20 years on Sunday, July 16.

On July 16, 2003 a couple signed a contract to purchase the first single-family lot in Wilden.

The Lommer family still lives in the house.

鈥淥ur house is going to be 20 years old this summer鈥, said Donna Lommer, 鈥渁nd anyone who comes by for the first time, they all say, 鈥榃hat a great place! What a beautiful area it is鈥, and we agree.鈥

Community members are planning a birthday celebration at the Wilden Presentation Centre.

The event runs from 1 to 5 p.m. The history of Wilden will be on display, people can enjoy live music and family activities, and snacks and refreshments will be served.
