The District of Lake Country is taking GoByBike BC Week very seriously.

Staff and students from Oyama Traditional School gathered Monday morning at the Oyama General Store to start the week right by cycling to school together.

Lake Country RCMP and Fire Department came out to show their support.

To encourage the bike riding to continue, the district is hosting a Celebration Station at Swalwell Park. Stop by between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31 to be entered to win prizes.

GoByBike BC Week runs until June 4 and encourages British Columbians to get active and reduce their carbon footprint.
