PHOTOS: Annual Lake Country Art Walk draws in hundreds

The theme of the Art Walk was 'art for a changing world'

Lake Country is a community full of art and creativity.

Local artists are celebrated annually through the Lake Country Art Walk.

This year, from Sept. 7-8, the event welcomed residents into the middle and high schools to gaze upon pieces created using various mediums.

The two-day event ran for its 31st year with the theme 'art for a changing world'. One featured piece used art to explore the impacts of climate change on polar bears.

Attendees could try out different workshops, view a handful of short films, catch some live music and sit for a personal portrait.

Save the dates from next year. Art Walk 2025 is set for the first weekend in September.
