PHOTOS: Pawsitively spooky at annual Halloween dog parade

The event raised funds for Paws It Forward

The 2nd annual Spooktacular Dog Parade was a tail-wagging good time.

Hosted by Unleashed Brewing Company, dozens of dogs and their owners dressed up to walk down Clement Avenue.

Shantel Hordos, co-owner of Unleashed, said they had so much success in year one they decided to expand the parade to a full event, closing out the parking lot behind the brewery to allow for photos, activities, and food trucks.

鈥淟ast year we didn鈥檛 do a registration and thought maybe 20 dogs would show up, and I believe there was over 100.鈥

The event fundraised for Paws It Forward.

鈥淟ast time I checked we were over $1,500 that we had raised just off of registrations,鈥 Hordos said, noting the online registration sold out at 150 dogs.

The whole event ran from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m on Oct. 29. The parade took place at 1:30 p.m.
