PHOTOS: Sunny day with fall feel at 14th annual Scarecrow Festival in Rutland

Hundreds of people were in attendance at the 14th annual event

The sun was bright but the temperatures were cool enough to make it feel like fall at the annual Scarecrow Festival in Rutland on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Deemed the unofficial start of fall, hundreds attended the event at Rutland Lions Park to build their own scarecrows as well as enjoy live music and local vendors. On top of making scarecrows, people in attendance got to vote on their favourite, with the most votes crowning the winner.

This year's event was the 14th annual, and put on by Creative Okanagan.
