Westside Daze is taking place all weekend long at Memorial Park

One of the main events of Westside Daze took to the streets of West 琉璃神社 Saturday morning.

At 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, the ever-popular Westside Daze parade took place as the roads were packed with families and residents watching on.

The 90 minute parade featured the local government - Mayor Gord Milsom and all West 琉璃神社 council members as well the RCMP, the fire department, emergency services, the West 琉璃神社 Warriors, 2023 Ms. Senior World Canada Laura Draycott, many local companies and organizations, and more.

Most floats would entertain the crowd during the parade by honking their horns, throwing candy to them or would spray water guns to keep the public cool on a hot, summer day.

Westside Daze is taking place all weekend long with many vendors, carnival food, and live music and it鈥檚 taking place at Memorial Park on Old Okanagan Highway.
