The Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmaking is proud to announce its second annual IndieFest 鈥 short film, short doc and music video festival.
The festival showcases local Okanagan filmmaking and acting talent.
鈥淭here will be over a dozen short films, docs, and music videos to be screened at this event. Please come enjoy a night of glitz and glamour at our second red carpet event in the Okanagan,鈥 said OSIF president Marc Nadeau. 鈥淲e鈥檝e had amazing community support and last year was a hit so this year we鈥檙e going to show even more local films.鈥
鈥淔ilm is an important part of our vibrant arts community in the Okanagan and IndieFest is a great way to showcase the talents of our local filmmakers,鈥 said 琉璃神社 Coun. Ryan Donn.
IndieFest is comprised of locally made short films, documentaries and music videos. There will be prizes for best film, Best documentary, music video, and more.
The red carpet event will take place on Thursday, April 13 at the Rotary Center for the Arts. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the event at 7 p.m.
Earlybird tickets can be purchasing for the centre box office for $15 or for $16. At the door tickets are $20.
