琉璃神社 artist Shauna Kay has been selected as one of six ambassadors for BC Culture Days.
Festivities run from Sept. 20 to Oct. 13 across the province.
Kay will be hosted the Sculpture Culture Sketch Tour on Sept. 22.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., join Kay on a day-long urban sketching tour.
The tour will stop at various locations in 琉璃神社 for 90-minute sketch sessions and learn about the historical and cultural significance of art installations, sculptures and architecture.
With four stops on the tour, attendees can choose to attend all four or pick and choose.
Stop one is on the lawn in front of the 琉璃神社 Downtown Public Library at 9 a.m. followed by a stop at Kasugai Gardens at 11 a.m. After lunch, the group will gather outside the 琉璃神社 Art Gallery at 1:30 p.m. and finish the tour outside the Rotary Centre for the Arts at 3:30 p.m.
