The miracle cat that survived being hit by a vehicle in the Okanagan

Miracle Marcus is all healed and ready for adoption

Thought to be dead after being struck by a vehicle on the side of the highway in the Okanagan, a passerby picked up the black cat out of respect and brought him to Lakecity Vets.

However, after arriving at the vet the feline appeared to be alive, proving that he very much did have nine lives.

Clinic staff went into action and named him Miracle Marcus, after his harrowing ordeal. Yet, the prognosis for Marcus was still very guarded.

But this little fighter battled his way through several operations including fixing his broken jaw and leg.

Now this little miracle is all healed up and ready for his forever home.

Under the care of AlleyCats Alliance Marcus is thriving, full of love and energy.

鈥淢arcus will always have a limp and a few scars but he is now able to jump and play with his foster mom and family,鈥 said AlleyCats.

If you are interested in adopting the calm and loving Miracle Marcus, please go onto the AlleyCATS website, and fill out an adoption application.

AlleyCATS has no paid employees so all donations go towards the care of the cats, whether that is vet costs, like Marcus鈥檚 surgery, or the day-to-day items like food, litter, and everything else it takes to rescue these forgotten felines of the Okanagan.

If you are able to donate towards veterinary costs or just want to support the good work that AlleyCATS Alliance does in the Okanagan you can do an E-Transfer using the email address alleycatsalliance@gmail.com, please include your email address if you wish to receive a tax receipt, or you can donate on our website , using PayPal, or by snail mail at 332, 113-437 Martin Street, Penticton, B.C.
