It’s cool to be kind.
That’s the message that was spread amongst Lake Country students on Pink Shirt Day, Feb. 28.
The annual campaign aims to stop bullying.
Kindergarteners from Peter Greer Elementary were welcomed into George Elliot Secondary School to tour classrooms and hand out stickers with messages of love and friendship.
The younger students also entertained the high schoolers with a few songs before heading back to class.
When the elementary students were asked how one can be good at kindness, answers included lots of practice and simply trying your best.
