Regional government funding of $333,000 to the commission this year supported a local economic impact of $104,815,000, a return of 31.5 per cent on each dollar invested.
Summerland said the Okanagan is home to 鈥渢hree exceptional film crews renowned for remarkable excellence in film production that bring creative visions to life鈥︹
鈥淭he Okanagan Film Commission is dedicated to helping producers bring their film to life with the resources and support they need for a seamless experience,鈥 he said.
