Contestants on Amazing Race Canada recently got an up-close look at some of what the South Okanagan has to offer.
Airing live for the first time on July 23, the newest episode of CTV's cross-Canada competition took viewers on a journey across the region, as contestants made stops in Penticton, Oliver, Summerland and Osoyoos.
From the Penticton Regional Airport to the S.S. Sicamous on Lakeshore Drive, the episode kicked off in the Peach City before heading to the renowned Area 27 racetrack in Oliver.
Contestants were then seen at the Book Shop, a fixture of downtown Penticton for close to five decades and Canada's largest independent bookstore.
Cruising north on Highway 97, teams later made their way to the Dirty Laundry Vineyard in Summerland.
Osoyoos' Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre was also featured during the more than 40-minute episode.
Amazing Race Canada — now in its 10th season — takes teams of two across the country. Contestants are asked to complete various challenges as they vie for the $250,000 grand prize.
