Rock legend Tom Cochrane treated Okanagan fans to all his latest and greatest hits Friday night in 琉璃神社.

He kicked the Prospera Place stop off with his tour title, Mad Mad World (signalling the silver anniversary of the diamond-selling hit album released in 1991) alongside Red Rider classics - as he was reunited on stage with Red Rider bandmates Kenny Greer and Jeff Jones.

Sunset, Bigger Man, Emotional Truth and No Regrets were among the tunes that had the crowds up on their feet, hollering for more.

And they weren鈥檛 the only ones enjoying the evening.

鈥滻鈥檝e never had a bad time here,鈥 said 63-year-old Cochrane, who also played Big League and White Hot, while Good Times and Boy Inside the Man followed in the encore.

Opening for Cochrane was country cutie Meghan Patrick, known best for such hits as Grace & Grit and Bow Chicka Wow Wow.

Patrick even jumped back on stage to join Cochrane and the band for an impromptu version of Hit the Road Jack (see video below).

Another impromptu act followed when a fan jumped the stage and got up to sign alongside Cochrane for Good Times (see above video).

The philanthropist opened his set with a video featuring some inspiring words and messages from his global relief efforts.
