Killswitch Engage is set to make some noise next spring in Penticton.
The three-time Grammy-nominated band has announced it will perform at the South Okanagan Events Centre on March 21, 2025.
Formed in 1999, the Massachusetts band has eight studio records, including 2002's Alive Or Just Breathing, named to the "The Top 100 Greatest Metal Albums of the Decade" list by metal publication Decibel.
"Excited is an understatement for the way that I feel about this tour," said Killswitch Engage singer Jesse Leach. "We will be playing a solid amount of new songs, as well as old. That alone makes me very stoked."
Killswitch Engage band has shared a stage with Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Slayer, My Chemical Romance and Mastodon, among others.
To date, the band has collected close to three billion streams across various platforms.
When Killswitch Engage hits the Penticton stage in March, they'll be supported by metal acts Kublai Khan TX, Fit For A King, and Frozen Soul.
The band's headline tour kicks off on March 5 in Nashville, before wrapping up in Portland, Maine on April 12.
Its Penticton show is one of five Canadian stops on its upcoming tour.
"It is going to make for a really great live experience for everybody who comes to check out this tour," Leach said. "I feel like the band is firing on all cylinders and the timing for this tour couldn't be more perfect. This will be a tour to be remembered...mark my words."
Tickets for the Penticton show go on sale Friday, Nov. 1, at 10 a.m.
