Penticton鈥檚 Peach Festival has unveiled the first musical lineup for 2024.

The festival announced on Feb. 1 that Steven Lee Olsen and Lydia Sutherland will be the stars of Country Night on Aug. 8.

Olsen is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who has collaborated with country giants including Keith Urban and Garth Brooks.

With a number of chart-topping hits including Blue Ain鈥檛 Your Color, Outta Yours and Raised By A Good Time, Olsen has made a name for himself as one of the most promising artists of his generation.

鈥淲e are thrilled to bring such incredible talent to the Penticton Peach Festival stage for Tim Hortons Country Night on Thursday, Aug. 8,鈥 says Alysha Forrest, entertainment director of Peach Festival.

Sutherland, a Nashville-based and Qu茅bec-born singer-songwriter, will open the show.

With a catalog of close to 900 songs, Sutherland has written and collaborated with many artists, including on songs such as Hold Me Back with Robyn Ottolini and Mercy with Kyle McKearney.

鈥淗er ability to deliver hit songs makes her a perfect fit for Tim Hortons Country Night, promising festival-goers a dynamic and unforgettable opening act,鈥 said Forrest.

The Penticton Peach Festival will run from Aug. 7 to 11. Other entertainment and headliners will be released in the coming weeks. For more information on the entertainment, how to volunteer, become a sponsor or a vendor visit www.Peachfest.com.
