His songwriting graces albums by Rod Stewart, Michael Bubl茅 and more, earning praise from icons including Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello and Coldplay鈥檚 Chris Martin. With 15 Juno nominations, including eight for Songwriter of the Year, Sexsmith鈥檚 unique blend of pop, contemporary folk and roots-rock has garnered him a dedicated global following, with such widely-acclaimed hits as Secret Heart, Gold in Them Hills and Tomorrow in Her Eyes to name just a few.
鈥淲e are thrilled that Ron Sexsmith is performing solo in the intimate OnStage concerts setting,鈥 said the arts centre society's artistic director Erin Kennedy.
His stop in Vernon is part of a B.C. tour before he heads to Ireland and the UK.
Audience members can expect an 鈥渦p close鈥, cabaret-style setting for the limited seating show, where Sexsmith will perform songs from his vast 17 album catalogue, including songs from his most recent album The Vivian Line.
