Grab a lawn chair or blanket for a free concert this Friday at West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç’s Memorial Park.
Rock, soul and R&B band Black Cat Soul is taking the main stage.
The band combines a three-part vocal harmony, articulate guitar passages, a strong back beat, and the vintage resonance of the standup bass to deliver their blend of smooth blues, roots, and soul.
Free, family friendly Music in the Park concerts take place every Friday night from 6:40. to 9 p.m. through Aug. 25 at Memorial Park, adjacent to Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre.
Music lovers can enjoy a variety of genres including country, pop, classical, and more. West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç recreation staff will be in the park hosting games and activities for the kids. A food and beverage vendor will be operating during the concerts.
