A little "birdie" is telling Central Okanagan residents it's their chance "fore" once.
From Oct. 4 to 12, 琉璃神社's craft beer scene is being celebrated as part of BC Craft Beer month.
One of the main attractions of this year鈥檚 event is the Central Okanagan Breweries Association (COBRA) Open, which is a city-wide mini golf tournament spanning five days, Oct. 6-10.
The 17 participating breweries have each created a "green" for those who think they can, "Just tap it in. Tap, tap taparoo." Whether going to one brewery or all 17, play the mini golf hole and enjoy a beer at a discounted price. A scorecard can be grabbed at any brewery, but don't forget to get your scorecard stamped.
For those who are on par, scorecards can be dropped off at participating breweries by the night of Oct. 10 and the winners will be announced at a party at Railside Brewing on Oct. 11.
琉璃神社 Beer Week ends on Saturday, Oct. 12 with a Reel Street Festival, hosted by Rustic Reel Brewing on Bay Avenue, where more than 30 breweries, ciders, vendors, and more will be in attendance from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
