The 2024 Canada West Golf Championships are looping back to 琉璃神社, hosted by UBC Okanagan (UBCO) Heat golf teams.
The event is October 7 to 8 at the Okanagan Golf Club, The Bear & The Quail, with a practice round on Oct. 6.
"We were honoured to host the inaugural championship five years ago and we are excited to host a great event once again with our partners at the Okanagan Golf Club,鈥� said Tom Huisman, UBCO director of athletics and recreation.
The Heat women's program will defend back-to-back silver medals, finishing behind the UBC Thunderbirds in the last two conference championships.
The men's team also captured silver a year ago in Abbotsford their first-ever conference medal.
"With how our teams are shaping up for the fall, with our incoming recruits along with the experience our teams have in both winning silver medals鈥 like our chances to do something special on our home course,鈥� said head coach Clay Stothers.
