The BC Choral Federation and ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Community Chorus are delighted to host Dr. Victoria Meredith, in her Choral Workshop presentation, A Voice for Life— Sing Your Best at Any Age.

The workshop takes place on Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the First Mennonite Church, 1305 Gordon Drive, ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç.

In this interactive session, singers of all ages will gain knowledge and learn techniques to assist them in singing as well as possible for as long as possible. Meredith will also address the relationships between choral singing and various aspects of physical, psychological and social well-being.

Meredith, a professor of choral music at the University of Western Ontario, has directed choirs of all ages, including the 2010 National Youth Choir of Canada, and honour choirs from nearly every Canadian province and the United States. A frequent juror for arts organizations such as the Canada Council and music festival across the country, Meredith maintains an active career as a guest conductor, workshop clinician, adjudicator and author.
