Each of the Deloitte Masterworks Series concerts will feature a pre-concert chat, open dress rehearsals, family matin茅es, school concerts, preschool activities and the OSO Chorus and the Okanagan Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Season tickets and single tickets are now available for purchase and audiences are encouraged to purchase tickets early as many performances are expected to sell out well in advance.

鈥淧lanning a season is one of the great joys of being a Music Director,鈥 said Rosemary Thomson, OSO music director.

鈥淭here is so much wonderful music to choose from. Our artistic planning team is excited to share our season with you, our passionate audience, and we hope that it will stir your imagination as you consider these concerts.鈥

The season opens in October with the infectious rhythm of Kodaly and soaring music of Brahms and Tchaikovsky, what Thomson calls the 鈥渕eat and potatoes鈥 of symphonic music.

The OSO is the third largest professional symphony orchestra in B.C.,  started in 1960.
