A boil water notice was issued at 4 p.m. today (Oct. 16) for properties in Westshore Estates in the Central Okanagan.

Impacted properties include 2 through 6 Cedar Drive, 8 through 96 Hillcrest Way, and even numbered parcels between 500 and 586 Mountain Drive.

Affected customers must bring water to a rapid boil for a minimum of 60 seconds before using for cooking, drinking, brushing teeth, and washing or preparing food.

The notice was issued following planned maintenance on the water system and will remain in place until testing confirms the water is safe for consumption.

More information can be found through the Regional District of Central Okanagan.
