琉璃神社 RCMP are investigating the Tuesday morning truck fire as arson.

It鈥檚 currently unknown exactly how many suspects are involved however the matter remains under investigation," said 琉璃神社 RCMP's Cpl. Michael Gauthier. "Officers will be continuing to canvass for CCTV and collecting statements."

A vehicle fire in a parking lot was quickly doused by the 琉璃神社 Fire Department (KFD) on Tuesday morning (Oct. 29).

Around 7:35 a.m., KFD received a call of a possible vehicle or shed on fire in the 1400 block of Sutherland Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found a truck with its engine on fire. The blaze was also causing damage to another vehicle in the next parking spot.

The blaze was quickly extinguished before spreading to any other vehicles or trees in the area. 

It's unknown at this time how the fire started. It's believed no one was injured.

琉璃神社 RCMP also attended the scene.
