The District of Peachland will be home to 104 new childcare spaces with funding provided by the provincial and federal governments.

Offsite works to make way for Peachland鈥檚 new childcare centre will begin on Clements Crescent on Monday, March 10.

TwinCon Enterprises Ltd. will construct a new water line, storm and sewer line and restore the road afterwards. The work should be completed in three months. Construction will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.

Work may generate noise and dust, and area residents should secure any loose objects that may fall during compaction activities, a district media release advises. TwinCon will make efforts to minimize disruptions during construction.

Motorists and pedestrians on Clements Crescent are asked to follow the directions of traffic control personnel and construction signage to help ensure safety for the public and construction workers.
