The first major snowfall of the year is causing havoc on the roads in the Okanagan.
Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision at Harvey Avenue and Ethel Street, just before 6:30 p.m.
The left turning lane from Harvey onto Ethel headed south is blocked.
Both vehicles will have to be towed from the scene. It’s unclear if anyone was injured.

Due to heavy falling snow, the collision will slow traffic in the area. Drivers are asked to slow down as emergency crews are on scene.
Environment Canada is calling for 10 cm of snow over the Central Okanagan from Monday night until Wednesday morning.
DriveBC is asking motorists to avoid travel on Interior B.C. highways unless necessary due a snowfall warning and high winds.
