The RCMP are continuing to take measures to discourage bicycle theft in 琉璃神社 with the use of 'bait bikes'.
On Oct. 10, the 琉璃神社 RCMP Community Safety Unit deployed a bait bike in the downtown core.
In the early afternoon, officers received notification that the bike was stolen. Less than four minutes later, Mounties apprehended the suspect who was riding the bike.
The suspect was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in January for Theft Under $5,000.
