琉璃神社 police are asking for the public鈥檚 help in identifying a shoplifter.
On November 10, at approximately 6:15 p.m., 琉璃神社 RCMP responded to a call for a theft from a liquor store in the 2000 block of Highway 33, 琉璃神社.
A man had concealed a bottle of 鈥渧ery expensive bottle of premium liquor,鈥 and left the store without paying, said Cpl. Michael Gauthier with the Kelown RCMP. The man had paid for a single bottle of wine at the store and left with both the wine and the concealed liquor bottle.
The suspect is described as being an olive skinned man in his mid 30s or 40s with a medium to heavy build. He has short, groomed black hair and was wearing black framed glasses, a black vest and grey khaki pants.
The male also appears to have a very distinct tattoo along the right side of his neck and throat.
While reviewing CCTV of other shoplifting incidents, a 琉璃神社 RCMP Watch Support Officer identified this male as the same individual suspected of multiple other thefts including from a hardware store and a music store. In these two particular incidents, the male was wearing the same black vest and glasses along with a camouflaged coloured jacket and toque.
鈥淭his individual appears to have stolen close to $20,000 in merchandise from three stores alone in the last couple weeks,鈥 said Gauthier. 鈥淚t would be reasonable to believe he鈥檚 committing thefts elsewhere and we need your help. If you know who this is, please let us know. Moreover, if this person has stolen from your business, please let us know and report it.鈥
