Council will take another look at a condo development planned for Lakeshore Road at its April 8 meeting.

The project, proposed for 3593 Lakeshore, was moved ahead in December 2023 despite concerns from three councillors over density and traffic congestion.

The four-storey, 20-unit development would be in the middle of several single-family lots between Swordy and Bechard roads, just south of Boyce-Gyro Beach.

At the Dec. meeting, Councillor Ron Cannan was concerned about increased traffic and the building being too high for the area.

Cannan, and Councillors Rick Webber and Charlie Hodge opposed the development.

Council will consider a development permit for the project at its April 8 meeting.
