Now is your chance to find out what it鈥檚 like to be a police dispatcher.
For two dates in 琉璃神社, the public has a chance to meet with Rhonda, the recruiter with the Southeast District 9-1-1 Police Dispatch Centre as the RCMP is launching 鈥楥offee with a Dispatcher鈥 once again. People who attend can ask questions about the job and the role dispatchers take when it comes to public safety.
鈥淚 am excited to share why I love coming to be a 9-1-1 Police Dispatcher and how rewarding it is to play a big role in keeping our community safe,鈥 said Rhonda.
To attend the event, pre-registration is mandatory. People interested must email E_911RECRUITING_SED@rcmp-grc.gc.ca and include:
- Full name;
- Complete address;
- Email address;
- Phone number;
- Preferred Event Type: Coffee with a Dispatcher;
- Preferred Time: Coffee Times are scheduled every half hour between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The two events are taking place on Wednesday, Feb. 28, and Tuesday, Mar. 12 at Third Space Coffee, located at 1708 Dolphin Ave in 琉璃神社.
