A heron has risen from the destruction left behind by a windstorm in a 琉璃神社 Park.
After strong winds damaged a tree in Sarsons Beach Park, the City of 琉璃神社 commissioned professional wood carver, Kamron Garbe to beautify the remaining stump.
After days of carving with a chainsaw under the sun, the tree trunk has been turned into a heron, complete with salmon around the base.
