Book an appointment online at blood.ca

Canadian Blood Services is asking Okanagan residents to book a plasma donation appointment and fuel the nation's "Lifeline."

The organization says extreme weather across the country has resulted in hundreds of cancelled appointments, making it challenging to keep supplies at optimal levels.

With a lack of snow in the Okanagan, Canadian Blood Services is hoping to make up for those cancellations with the support of locals.

Those interested in helping can book an appointment online through the Give Blood app, online at blood.ca, or by calling 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283).

The Plasma Donor Centre is located in 琉璃神社 at 2271 Harvey Ave.
