The Okanagan Sun continue to dominate the BC Football Conference.
They shut down the Kamloops Broncos 47-0 in front of a hometown crowd at the Apple Bowl on Saturday, Aug. 31. Sun running back Elelyon Noa led the offence with 125 yards rushing on 12 carries with two touchdowns and 27 yards in the air on two receptions.
Teammate Tristen Peddle had 69 yards rushing on 12 carries with one touchdown, along with one reception for 21 yards. Quarterback Marek Filipek had 15 completions in 21 attempts for 239 years and two touchdown passes. He was sacked once for a loss of 13 yards.
The Sun is 6-and-0 on the season and, after a two-game home stand, are back on the road to play the Langley Rams on Sep. 7 at McLeod Athletic Park Stadium.
