Turnout on the first day of advanced voting in B.C. was off to a promising start with 171,381 people casting a ballot across the province.
Elections BC has reported that this is the highest number ever recorded on an advanced polling day in a B.C. provincial election.
Advanced polling runs from Oct.10 to13 and then again on the 15 and 16, with the final voting day on Oct. 19.

On the first day of advanced voting, 8,858 people cast their vote in the three 琉璃神社 electoral districts, with an additional 2,867 people voting on the other side of Okanagan Lake in the West 琉璃神社-Peachland riding.
Residents of the 琉璃神社-Lake Country-Coldstream riding had the greatest turnout on Oct. 10m with 3,571 votes cast, followed by 2,810 in the most city's populated electoral district 鈥� 琉璃神社-Mission. 琉璃神社-Centre had a turnout of 1,656 people.
All eligible voters can vote at any electoral office in the province.
