Peachland has recognized more than a dozen citizens for their outstanding achievements in 2023.
Mayor and council announced the winners of the annual Spirit of Peachland Awards on Friday, Apr. 26:

- Excellence in Arts - Janet Hornseth;
- Excellence in Health Promotion - Jubi Steinhauer and Sarah Kendrick;
- Excellence in Seniors鈥� Physical Fitness - Kay Muir;
- Excellence in Dedication and Service - Mick Armstrong;
- Excellence in Visionary Leadership - Murray Wood;
- Excellence in Community Inclusion - Pam Collingwood;
- Excellence in Environment and Conservation - Peachland Watershed Protection Alliance;
- Excellence in Community Accessibility - Rick Horvath;
- Unsung Hero - Sheila Kerr;
