Kamloops RCMP are reminding guardians to check their children's Halloween haul after a razor blade was found inside a piece candy.
A mother called the RCMP on Nov. 1, after her daughter, who had been trick or treating in the Brock area of Kamloops on Halloween night, found a candy in her bag that had been partially opened. Inside the open wrapper, a small razor blade could be seen protruding from the candy.
The child notified her mother immediately and the mother called the police.
It is unknown which residence the candy originated from and there have been no other reports.
