A man and woman were taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant in Lake Country on July 25. 

The Lake Country RCMP, Lake Country General Investigation Section, 琉璃神社 Police Dog Services, and South East District Emergency Response Team worked together to execute the search warrant in the 10,000-block of Copper Hill Place. 

The search resulted in the recovery of thousands of dollars worth of alcohol, veterinary equipment, pieces of identification and ammunition. 

鈥淭his investigation was driven forward by the dedication and professionalism of the Lake Country RCMP GIS and frontline officer teams. The ERT and PDS units were instrumental in deploying specialized equipment and tactics to ensure a safe entry and arrest. This project and search warrant was in line with the detachment priority of targeting and reducing property crime. Lake Country RCMP will continue to target all criminal activity in the community,鈥�  Lake Country RCMP media liason Cpl. Ryder Birtwistle said.

The two people arrested were both released pending further investigation.
