Transient fire quickly doused in 琉璃神社's North End

The fire was first reported at a bout 4:45 p.m. Monday

Emergency crews responded to multiple calls of a possible grass fire at 948 Ellis Street, at about 4:45 p.m. Monday.

However, when firefighters arrived on scene they discovered a small blaze believed to have been started by transients in the area. The fire was located close to a building on Ellis, however, it did not threaten the structure. 

Fire crews were able to quickly douse the flames. The scene was cleared by 5 p.m.
