Winter is still hanging around in the Okanagan.
Two highway alerts were issued on Sunday, March 9, as a snowfall warning was in effect for drivers on the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt.
Heavy snowfall and challenging driving conditions are expected from Sunday afternoon until Monday morning.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations, and visibility may be reduced, according to the alert from Environment Canada.
A winter storm warning has also been issued for a Highway 1 stretch between Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
Snowfall of up to 30 cm is expected by Sunday morning, with a "strong Pacific frontal system bringing periods of heavy snow to Rogers Pass."
