A couple of local personal trainers have made a big donation to a West 琉璃神社 high school.

Brian Mark and Cole DaSilva from Iron Energy Gym donated $10,000 to the Mount Boucherie Secondary School football team on Thursday, Nov. 30.

鈥淥ur goal with this donation is to remind these men to stay focused on their goals, because they are the future and decisions they make today will be the ones that shape the next generation,鈥 Mark and De Silva said in a joint Instagram post.

They got inspired to make the donation after one of the players on the team reached out and spoke to Mark.

鈥淎s football players, you guys are leaders in the community,鈥 Mark told players at the cheque presentation. 鈥淧eople follow you around, they鈥檒l watch what you do, and they鈥檙e going to act like you.鈥
