UPDATE: August 15, 6:30 p.m.
A wildfire is burning out of control near Trepanier Provincial Park, west of 琉璃神社.
The blaze was first spotted at shortly after 5 p.m. on August 15, and is currently 1.3 hectares in size. The fire is believed to have been caused by lightning.
B.C. Wildfire Service has not yet updated the website with the response to the blaze. However, according to a helicopter was deployed from the Penticton airport at 6:01 p.m., and has been circling the area of the blaze.
There are no current evacuation orders in place and no structures are at risk.

A wildfire has ignited near Trepanier Provincial Park west of 琉璃神社 Thursday afternoon, Aug. 15.
BC Wildfire Service lists the new wildfire as being out of control.
The fire is currently an estimated size of 1.1 hectares.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
BC Wildfire Service says the location of the fire is near Lacoma Creek.
