3 ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Rockets named to B.C. Division all-star teams

Three ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Rockets were named to the WHL divisional all-star teams on Tuesday afternoon.

Lake Country’s Tij Iginla made the first team all-stars in the B.C. Division while Andrew Cristall and Caden Price made the second team.

In his first season with the Rockets, Iginla led the team with 47 goals and finished third on the team with 84 points. The son of Jarome Iginla is draft-eligible for the 2024 NHL draft and a projected first-round pick.

Cristall and Price were named to the B.C. Division second team after both posted outstanding regular seasons once again.

The Washington Capitals prospect Cristall led the Rockets with 111 points this season (40 goals, 71 assists), which was good enough for fifth in the entire WHL. Price, the Seattle Kraken prospect led Rockets defenceman in points with 55 this year (13 goals, 42 assists).

Iginla, Cristall, Price, and the Rockets are gearing up for their first-round playoff series against the Wenatchee Wild, which begins on Friday, Mar. 29 with game one of the best-of-seven series down in Wenatchee. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
