In the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday, the Coyotes found themselves down 4-1 going into the bottom of the seventh but responded with five runs in the inning on their way to an 8-4 win. Ryan Dousett went 3-5 at the plate while Matt Boychuk and Rico Domingo each drove in two runs.

In the second game of the day, Edmonton got in the win column, beating the Coyotes 6-4. Okanagan College just fell short in their comeback effort in the contest. They were down 6-0 going into the bottom of the ninth inning, where they scored four runs to make it close but couldn’t quite complete the comeback.

Anthony Wyslobocki suffered the loss, despite allowing just one run over seven innings. He struck out 11 batters.

On Sunday, the fourth and final game of the weekend was the most dramatic as the Coyotes walked off Edmonton, beating them 8-7 in 10 innings.

Domingo drove in the winning run with a single in the bottom of the 10th inning. Aiden Wensman went 1-3 with a two-RBI double.

Zander Oudie Senger earned the win in relief, throwing 3.2 innings, and striking out six batters.
